Third Thursday Dinner: November 2018

November is seeing me between operations. I had my lumpectomy to remove the cancer on October 2 and my second lumpectomy (to clear margins) and breast reduction are scheduled for next week. I asked for help this month and had other folks bring things.

Main course: shrimps or vegan chicken scampi on zucchini noodles, roasted green beans and Brussels with crispy Sweet potato disks dressed in rosemary walnut honey 

This month Iโ€™m going to ask you help me out by bringing: an appetizer, a salad or soup or bread thing or a dessert. You can make or buy it I donโ€™t care ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’œ

Iโ€™ll make the main meal and the beverages. 

The theme is ROSEMARY and itโ€™s benefits are many: May improve brain function and protect the nervous system and the brain, stimulates hair growth (use as a rinse post shower on head), may help relieve pain, repels bugs, eases stress when smelled or used as tea, can increase circulation, helps perk you up-instead of or in addition to coffee, and it may reduce joint inflammation when eaten or make a soothing rub with 15 drops essential oil to 3oz of castor oil (which also reduces inflammation.
