if you live on planet earth in any of the countries surrounding the gulf of mexico you know about the giant oil snafu of doom. it's big, it's bad, it's uncontrollable and it's making me a bit crazy.

crazy in the hand flailing, what can i do, not a gods-damn-thing kinda way.

so here i me doing what i can. passing on a beautiful prayer used by Masura Emoto, the guy who writes messages in water and photographs how their crystalline structure changes. anything he does with water i will happily follow.

another principle that is used here is the art of ho'oponopono forgiveness as a healing power. by transforming forgiveness into love we heal our own dependence on oil, we ask forgiveness from the earth, the water and the animals and we surrender into a higher plane which has huge healing potential. there are freaky cool stories about the trans-formative powers of ho'oponopono.

so while i am flailing about, i will remember to add this prayer in once in awhile, and i won't beat myself up for having a car, or using plastic, but i will look and save and choose when i can to make other choices not involving oil. that is what i can offer and for now that is enough.

"I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings. To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, plankton, coral, algae, and all living creatures . . . I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. "
